Porcell is denounced for abuse of authority

A complaint of abuse of authority and violation of the duties as public servants, was filed against the General Attorney of the Nation Kenia Porcell, following the statement made in a television station in which she questions the judgment of Judge Enrique Paniza partially annulling research in case of radars for running the term of instruction.

The complaint was filed with the Office of Administration for Democratic Change party spokesman Luis Eduardo Camacho, who noted that statements Kenya Porcell violate Article 355 of the penal code provides for penalties of up to two years in prison.

He said that by making these statements the prosecutor upheld that illegalities in the investigation offices of the Public Ministry are committed, also it constitutes a injenrencia in investigations by prosecutors.

It adds that they are violating the rules of the Judicial Code, which establishes the independence of prosecutors to investigate criminal cases.

Meanwhile Roinel Ortiz, a lawyer and former official of the Public Ministry, said there are already precedents in the Supreme Court, who have condemned the actions of a defense attorney to leave their tax when they break the term research.
