Ulloa: we must lay the interests

"Think of Panama above personal interests", was the message sent to the authorities of this government, Monsignor José Domingo Ulloa, Archbishop of Panama before the beginning of Lent.

Ulloa said the country has stopped pointing corrupt with the fingers, neglecting the solution of specific problems for the population.

He called for reconciliation with reference to the number of political prisoners in the prisons of the country, whom I had the opportunity to visit pre-Carnival.

He questioned the fact that so much water is wasted during Carnival, when Azuero livestock could die in the next 15 days to the severe drought plaguing the region.

He said that in this time of Lent, rather than following the tradition should be focused on being responsible in the sense of bringing peace to their families and putting the education of their children on other superficial things.

The issue of casinos was not overlooked in the message of Bishop, saying that it is not understandable that in very poor communities have up to four casinos in the same mall. He explained that social networks are pushing people who prefer to communicate from cell apparatus.
