Jennifer Lopez conoce a su doble

La actriz y empresaria mexico-peruana, Connie Peña, cumplió uno de sus grandes sueños: conocer a Jennifer Lopez, a quien imita desde hace un par de años, debido a su gran parecido físico y que hace algunos años fue noticia al descubrirse que en verdad parecía su doble.

La ex de Marc Anthony llegó a Minnesota con motivo de su gira It’s My Party y sin duda fue una de sus presentaciones memorables, pues aunque aún no es su cumpleaños número 50 (24 de julio) hizo una gran fiesta en el Xcel Energy Center y todos los presentes disfrutaron al máximo su concierto, señala una nota de Telemundo. 

En aquel lugar, como una de sus muchas fanáticas, la esperaba Connie. Luego del espectáculo, la joven doble de JLo, tuvo la oportunidad de pasar al backstage donde estaba su ídolo.

I finally got the opportunity to meet the Ms Jennifer Lopez, the LEGEND, My ICON, and the woman that has motivated me and impacted my life in so many ways! This day changed my life. I had been waiting so very long for this day to come. I’ve never been so nervous in my life! I had a million questions and words in my mind ask ask her that day, but being in her presence, face to face, I got so nervous that I couldn’t even ask her 1 question. It was such a blessing to she her reaction and smile at me and the HUG we had given to each other was unforgettable. Hearing her tell me that “WE LOOK ALIKE,” made my heart drop with joy! As a mother of 2 myself, I know it’s not easy, but you always have a way to pull it off and give the World the best of who you are and for that I admire and respect you as a mother, strong latin women, entertainer , entrepreneur, and leader! I could go on and on on WHY I have decided to dedicate my new career in tributing your impecable talent, but your tremendous work speaks for itself! I wish I would of had more time to talk to her and truly get to know her, but I understand it was a quick meet and greet. Aunque toda la energía de la cantante quedó en el escenario, al ver a Connie, según la misma actriz relata en su post de Instagram, la neoyorquina la abrazó con fuerza y dijo: “Nos encontramos”. Al parecer Jennifer Lopez sabía de Peña y de la fama que ha cobrado por parecerse a ella.

“¡Finalmente tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Jennifer Lopez, la leyenda, mi ícono y la mujer que me motivó e impactó mi vida de muchas maneras! Este día cambió mi vida. Había estado esperando tanto tiempo para que llegara este día”, escribió Connie en su larga publicación.

La fotografía fue el broche de oro en este encuentro, y para todos los seguidores de Peña y amantes de JLo, fue muy grato verlas juntas. Esta imagen quedará para la historia y seguro jamás se olvidarán de este momento.

Fue en el certamen “Señorita México” en el 2011, cuando Connie Emily Peña saltó a la fama por su gran belleza y parecido a la futura esposa del exbeisolista Alex Rodriguez.
